A reminder to everyone that Maria Arango Diener, artist-in-residence at Red Rock Canyon, will be leading two workshops, on April 13 and 19, which will guide participants from concept through the creation of a carved wood-block print. This is an unprecedented opportunity to work alongside an internationally-recognized artist to learn a unique skill and create artwork based on your experience of our Mojave Desert. Participants who attend these workshops will also see their artwork featured in an exhibition for the Artist-in-Residence program, which will be hosted in the visitor center from July through August. For more information or to register, please call (702) 515-5367.
