Event Details
Wherever you are in Red Rock Canyon, Blue Diamond Hill looms large nearby. We can’t climb it, but we can traverse the foothills, or “bajada” at its base. This loose, gravelly soil is perfect for plants to sink their roots in, and for animals to dig their holes in. Be prepared to see and hear a different desert: the one that comes out at night. This is a 2.5 mile moderately difficult hike. Ages 10+. Limited space/registration required.
