Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
Join an Interpretive Naturalist on a hike under the Red Rock Escarpment ending with a scenic view of the valley. Bighorn sheep and mule deer have been spotted nearby. Potato Knoll (also known as Wilson’s Pimple) starts and ends flat and includes a climb to the summit at 4,400 feet. Hike has a total elevation gain of approximately 600ft and over 4 miles. Approximately 3.5 hour hike. Moderate to Strenuous difficulty. Call 702-515-5367 for time and to register as there is limited space and registration necessary. Ages 12+.
