Join us in the Visitor Center of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area anytime from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM to learn how tarantulas live in the Mohave Desert and why tarantulas might not be as scary as you may think. Tarantulas typically begin emerging in late September through October but its fun to learn about them all year long.
Registration is not required, all are welcome. No live animals will be present. This event will be inside, but when visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water.
