Join the Bureau of Land Management and Las Vegas poets for a special poetry showcase with a view! 10 local poets will present original pieces about their connection to the natural world and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area as sunlight fades on the famous Calico Hills. The Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center will close at 4:30 pm, so it is recommended to get here early if you plan to visit the gift shop or exhibits.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. Advance registration at is recommended, but day-of walk-ups are welcome if there is space. Additionally, a Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive Timed Entry reservation (available at or by calling 1-877-444-6777) is required.
