Event Details

Join Interpretive Naturalists at the Visitor Center picnic tables anytime from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM for an Art in Nature program. This month’s featured art project is earring making! Get step by step instructions on how to create earrings out of recycled materials including cans that were littered! You can follow the provided instructions or create something of your own invention. Appreciate the beauty of the desert while you work, chat with others and get some fun facts from naturalists.

This monthly program will occur the second Monday of every month from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. No registration is required for this program, however, a Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive Timed Entry reservation (available at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777) is required.

When visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water.
