Event Details

Join the Las Vegas Astronomical Society for a night of stargazing at the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area Visitor Center!

Study the moon, observe the planets, and look back hundreds and even millions of years into the ancient past of the universe as we gaze upon galaxies, nebulae, and other wonders of the night sky. Special video-assisted systems are often available to provide an enjoyable evening of stargazing for those that may have difficulty viewing at the eyepiece of a telescope.

The event is free and open to all ages.

Visitors need to be in the conservation area before the gates close at 8:00PM. NO entry after 8:00PM.

Entrance fee or annual pass required to get to Visitor Center.
