Event Details

Hike with Tom on a search for wild burros to observe these beautiful animals in the wild. We will discuss how the non-native equines found their way to the Mojave Desert.

After the hike, Tom will be at Cowboy Trail Rides with Jackson the Red Rock Canyon Burro for anyone interested in meeting Jackson and learning more about these interesting and loveable animals.

Registration necessary/limited space. Call (702) 515-5367. Time of hike and meet-up location will be given during registration.

Ages 9+. Bring at least 1 liter of water per person for this hike, use sun protection, wear good hiking shoes, and dress for the weather. Restrooms are located at the Red Rock Overlook. There is no cell service on the trail or in most areas of the Red Rock Canyon. Please no pets on this hike.
