Discover Calico Basin as the sun sets and September’s harvest (almost) full moon rises. The setting sunlight make the cacti glow as we hike into twilight. Watch as nocturnal wildlife take over the desert, and unveil the importance of the moon to humans of the past and present. Moderate difficulty. Estimated 2.75 hours and 2.5 miles with hills. Flashlight necessary. Limited space/registration necessary. Ages 10+.
