Event Details

Join Interpretive Naturalists for a hike on the Calico Basin trail, located just outside of the scenic drive. We will discuss the geological features in the area as well as any cool plants and animals we see along the way. This hike will be a little more than 1.5 miles (out and back) and is ranked easy to moderate in difficulty. We estimate that this hike will take about an hour and a half to complete.

Registration necessary/limited space. Call (702) 515-5367. Time of hike and meet-up location will be given during registration.

Ages 9+. Bring at least 1 liter of water per person and dress for the weather. Restrooms are located at the Red Spring picnic area. Little to no cell service on the trail. Please no pets on this hike.
