Hike with Tom on a relativity easy ~2mile out & back trail to the east end of Calico Hills. The trail will take us right up the base of the brilliantly colored Calico Hills. We will see examples of the crossbedding in the Aztec Sandstone along with contrasting types of vegetation, birds & a historical site containing interesting rock art.

Ages 9+. Bring at least 2 liters of water per person for this hike, use sun protection, wear good hiking shoes, and dress for the weather. Restrooms are located at the Visitor Center. There is no cell service on the trail or in most areas of the Red Rock Canyon. Please no pets on this hike.
