Calico Hills Hike

Event Details

Hike with Tom on a pleasant ~3.5-mile trail that runs among low ridges, washes, canyons, and red sandstone boulders along the base of the brilliantly red Calico Hills. The trail generally traverses open country with interesting rocks, fossils, birds, rock art, contrasting vegetation types, and grand scenery all around.

Registration necessary/limited space. Call (702) 515-5367. Time of hike and meet-up location will be given during registration.

Ages 9+. Bring at least 1 liter of water per person for this hike, use sun protection, wear good hiking shoes, and dress for the weather. Restrooms are located at the parking lots. There is no cell service on the trail or in most areas of the Red Rock Canyon. Please no pets on this hike.
