Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
Hike with Tom on a pleasant ~3.5-mile trail that runs among low ridges, washes, canyons, and red sandstone boulders along the base of the brilliantly red Calico Hills. The trail generally traverses open country with interesting rocks, fossils, birds, rock art, contrasting vegetation types, and grand scenery all around.

Please bring at least 1 liter of water per person for this hike. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and wear good hiking shoes. Restrooms are located at the parking lot. There is no cell service along most of the trail or on most areas of the Scenic Drive.
Age Limit: 9+
This trail is considered a moderate hike and will take about ~3.5 hours
The hike will start and end at the the trailhead at the Calico 1 Parking Lot.
