Event Details

Celebrate American Eagle Day and 4th of July, America’s birthday! Join us at 9am or 10am while we learn why the Bald Eagle is the official symbol of the United States. Children will listen to a reading of “The Eagles are Back”  by Jean Craighead George,  about eagles. Afterwards they can create a take home craft of a patriotic eagle or hat. We will learn fun facts about eagles as we craft! Registration suggested but not necessary. Ages 4-11 years old. 9AM & again at 10AM, Visitor Center Classroom
