Connect Through the Lens – Photography Guided Hike

Event Details

Embark on an engaging photography hike with a park ranger to unlock the magic of the desert as you connect with its enchanting landscapes and vibrant life through your lens. Let nature be your creative inspiration as we slowly and mindfully go on a guided hike in Red Rock Canyon NCA. A professional camera is not necessary; any type of camera is suitable, and photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to join.

The location of this hike will be given once you register. We will be embarking on a guided picturesque 0.67-mile (1.08 km) walk with around 100-foot (30 m) of elevation gain. This hike will be suitable for all levels of hikers and the trail is ADA accessible. As we journey, we will discover the benefits of creativity in nature and its positive impact on mental health and uncover how the natural environment can ignite creativity and offer new ideas and perspectives for artistic expression.

We look forward to seeing you on this guided hike and to sharing the moments that you capture along the way with other hikers in the group and possibly with future visitors of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
