Event Details

Did you know that crafting and spending time outdoors have a positive effect on your brain and overall well-being? Well it’s true! Engaging in creative activities like crafting benefits your mental health, dexterity and coordination, while spending time outdoors helps with emotional well being and cognitive brain functions. An extra bonus is that crafting is fun and enjoyable and you get to create a personalized keepsake for you or a loved one.

If this sounds like something that interests you, join us in the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center on the second to last Friday each month, anytime from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM for a different craft each month. This month you can upcycle an old magnet to create your very own Red Rock Canyon magnet! All of the supplies will be included, everyone is welcome, while supplies last.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. No registration is required for this program.
