Dale’s Trail Hike

Event Details

Hike with Tom on a moderately strenuous hike along Dale’s Trail, which runs along the base of the escarpment from Pine Creek Canyon to Ice Box Canyon. There will be lots of ups and downs as we cross the ravines. Great views of the Wilson Cliffs sandstone escarpment. Good chance of seeing wildlife. We will discuss the geology and plants and animals while on the trail.

Registration necessary/limited space. Call (702) 515-5367. Time of hike and meet-up location will be given during registration.

Ages 9+. Bring at least 1 liter of water per person for this hike, use sun protection, wear good hiking shoes, and dress for the weather. Restrooms are located at the trailhead parking lots. There is no cell service on the trail or in most areas of the Red Rock Canyon. Please no pets on this hike.
