Join a Bureau of Land Management ranger on a guided 3-mile (4.8 km) hike on the Moenkopi Trail! We will observe the rising sun as we talk about the amazing desert landscape at Red Rock Canyon. We will use our senses to hear, smell, and see how the plants and animals adapt to the Mojave Desert ecosystem.
Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. Advance registration at https://rrcactivities.timetap.com/#/ is required to attend this program. This event does take place along the Scenic Drive, so standard Scenic Drive entry fee is required to attend this program.
When visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water.
