Join us anytime from 9:00AM to 11:30 AM to learn about the Fire Ecology trail and the prescribed burn that occurred there in 1992. Talk with an Interpretive Naturalist who will be at the Pine Creek Canyon Parking lot from 9:00-11:30 AM to learn more about why prescribed burns are necessary, and the importance of performing them.
Registration is not required, all are welcome.
The interpretive naturalist will be speaking with visitors outside, so dress accordingly for the weather. Additionally when visiting Red Rock Canyon NCA it is recommended to wear sunscreen, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water, and if planning to hike wear sturdy shoes.
