Event Details
Join Tom as we explore the majestic desert scenery right outside of the scenic drive. Learn interesting facts about the plants, animals, and geology of the Mojave Desert! The hike will be approximately 2.75 miles long and involves a 400ft elevation change. The descent will have loose rocks and a few one-foot step downs. The hike will start and end at the Cowboy Trail Rides parking lot.
Registration necessary/limited space. Call (702) 515-5367. Time of hike and meet-up location will be given during registration.
Ages 9+. Bring at least 1 liter of water per person for this hike, use sun protection, wear good hiking shoes, and dress for the weather. Restrooms are located at the Cowboy Trail Rides office. There is no cell service on the trail or in most areas of the Red Rock Canyon. Please no pets on this hike.
