Event Details

Join Interpretive Naturalists as we explore the majestic desert scenery right outside of the scenic drive. Learn interesting facts about the plants, animals, and geology of the Mojave Desert! The hike will be approximately 2.75 miles long and involves a 400ft climb to the ridge line. The descent will have loose rocks and a few one-foot-tall step-downs. This hike is recommended for those that are sure-footed and have solid shoes with good grip. Hiking poles or walking sticks are also suggested.

Registration necessary/limited space. Call (702) 515-5367. Time of hike and meet-up location will be given during registration.

Ages 12+. Bring at least 1 liter of water per person and dress for the weather. There is little to no cell service on this trail. There are no restrooms in the parking area. Please no pets on this hike.

We will end the hike with a meet and greet with Jackson, the Red Rock Canyon Burro!
