Event Details

Desert riparian ecosystems are a unique natural feature found in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Visit the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center anytime between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM to learn more about the frogs and toads that live in the Mojave desert.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. No registration is required for this program, however, a Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive Timed Entry reservation (available at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777) is required.

When visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water.
