Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
This varied hike takes us up beautiful Gateway Canyon – known for its red and white striped “candy cane” rocks. This area is popular with rock climbers – we will discuss geology, and natural history along the way. We will approach the canyon from the bottom (not crossing over Kraft Mountain). Moderately difficult hike of three miles. Ages 10+. Limited space/registration required.
