Event Details

Join us at the Calico 1 Parking Lot of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area to learn about geology of the Calico Hills, why the rocks are red and some of the intricate details that can be found in the landscape. 

Registration is not required, all are welcome. No live animals will be present. This event will be outside. When visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water.
