Join an Interpretive Naturalist in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area Visitor Center Amphitheater anytime from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM for a free 15 minute presentation about the elusive Gila Monster. This presentation will have all sorts of information about the Gila Monster, like its lifespan, diet, habitat, etc. and it will last around 15 minutes. The 15 minute presentation will begin whenever guests arrive and will last ~15 minutes depending on questions. Guests are welcome to arrive anytime between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. No registration is required for this program, however, a Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive Timed Entry reservation (available at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777) is required.

When visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water.
