Event Details
This hike follows the horse trails out to Skull Canyon. The dirt path takes us to the base of a thousand foot cliff – where hawks and falcons nest. On our return, we follow a meandering wash to a forest of desert willow trees. Then we go back to the horse corals to meet “Jackson,” a formerly wild burro, and current Red Rock mascot. 2.5 hr. Hike, 100 ft. elevation gain. Moderately difficult. Ages 10+. Limited space/registration required.
