Event Details
Because February 2 is Groundhog Day, which is associated with the forecast of spring, we take this day to talk about how we know it’s spring in the Mojave Desert. Since there are no groundhogs here, we look to the desert tortoise to tell us when spring is on its way. We’ll also look at other environmental indicators of spring’s arrival in the desert at this tabletop presentation. All ages. No registration required.
