Event Details

Hike with Tom on one of Red Rock Canyon most interesting geological features: the Keystone Thrust. Come and see where the older Cambrian limestone has moved on top of the younger Jurassic sandstone. You will actually be able to stand on the contact zone between these two periods in time. We will also see a cooking site used possibly as long as 1,000 years ago. Ages 7+. Moderately difficult hike of 1.5 miles. Limited space/registration required.
