Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
The stone at Red Rock Canyon has been faulted and uplifted by massive geologic processes. This moderately difficult hike of 2.5 miles will take us to the best place to see a thrust fault “in action.” We return by way of a wash that requires some rock scrambling. Ages 12+. Limited space/registration required.
