Join us for an unforgettable Lunar New Year celebration! Take a guided hike with a Park Ranger from the Bureau of Land Management through the stunning Red Spring Boardwalk and discover the secrets of a riparian ecosystem. This accessible program will take place at the Red Spring Boardwalk at Calico Basin. The trail is a 0.6-mile (1 km) on a raised boardwalk with a total of 62 ft (19 m) of elevation gain. Water is not available at the Red Springs Boardwalk. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to celebrate the Lunar New Year in style with us!
Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. Advance registration at redrockcanyonlvprograms.timetap.com is required to attend this program. If you plan to visit the Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive or Visitor Center, please make a timed entry reservation at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.
When visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water.
