Event Details
Join Southern Nevada Conservancy and Red Rock Audubon for mindful birdwatching at the Red Spring Boardwalk. This wellness-focused program invites you to slow down, engage your senses, and deepen your connection with birds and the natural world through observation, nature journaling, and simple mindfulness practices, including soft-gaze walking and sound mapping.
Guided by the principles of mindful birding, we will turn our attention to birds and nature for self-care, observing without judgment or expectations, and embracing curiosity, wonder, and awe. Bring water, sun protection, and binoculars if you have a pair.
Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. Advance registration through Red Rock Audubon is required to attend this program. A Red Rock Canyon entry fee and timed entry reservation are not required.
Age Limit: None
