Event Details

Mother’s Day is May 12th! Come celebrate a few days early by bringing your mom out to the picturesque Red Spring Boardwalk for a guided walk with an Interpretive Naturalist. The Red Spring Boardwalk is a 0.6 mile (0.97 km) level boardwalk, over a meadow surrounded by a variety of plants, beautiful views, and historic cultural sites. Along the way you can spend time bonding with your mom in the great outdoors and learn about some of the flora, fauna, geology, and human history of the area from an Interpretive Naturalist.

The Red Spring Boardwalk is 0.6 miles (0.97 km) long, has a few areas of incline, and is wheelchair accessible, so all abilities are welcome.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. Advance registration at https://redrockcanyonlvprograms.timetap.com/#/ is required to attend this program. This program is not along the Scenic Drive, but if you plan to visit the Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive or Visitor Center, please make a timed entry reservation at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.

When visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather.
