Today is National Handmade Day. Join Interpretive Naturalists at the picnic tables just outside of the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area Visitor Center anytime from 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM to hand make your own Red Rock Canyon postcard. Take in the beautiful views of the canyon while you make your very own postcard, and learn fun facts about the plants and animals that exist within the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Materials such as paints, crayons, colored pencils and paper will be provided.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. No registration is required for this program, however, a Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive Timed Entry reservation (available at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777) is required.

When visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water.
