Event Details

Happy National Jumping Frog Day! Based on Mark Twain’s short story “The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County”, this day not only promotes literature but also helps us learn about the amphibians that are an important part to our ecosystems! There will a short presentation on frogs and toads followed by jumping frog races (plastic jumping frogs will be provided, no live critters please!) and an origami jumping frog craft.

All ages. No registration necessary. However, space may be limited based on the guidelines during the day of the event.
