Join the Bureau of Land Management, Friends of Red Rock Canyon, and Southern Nevada Conservancy to assist with fence sealing and trash cleanup for this year’s National Public Lands Day 2019 volunteer project. The work will involve hiking, standing for long periods, bending, lifting, reaching and carrying heavy or awkward objects up to 50 pounds. Work will be done at the Red Spring Picnic Area and the Red Rock Campground. Minimum age to participate is eight years old.

Check-in will start at 7AM; the project will last from 8AM until Noon.

Lunch will be served and water, snacks, gloves, goggles and tools will be provided.

Please plan ahead and dress appropriately for the weather conditions and work to be completed. We recommend a long sleeve shirt, long pants and boots or tennis shoes–please no open toe shoes. Please do not bring your pets to this volunteer event.
