Join an Interpretive Naturalist for a hike and some nature journaling at Lost Creek. Before the hike an Interpretive Naturalist will briefly explain what nature journaling is and some things of interest you may see on the hike. The Lost Creek hike is rated as easy and has a distance of 0.75 miles (1.21 km), and has a little bit of elevation gain. At various stops along the hike the group can stop and reflect on what they see, hear, or feel, and jot down their observations or drawings into their nature journals. At the end of the hike those who would like can share their thoughts or drawings with the group.
Registration is required, for more information and registration please call (702) 515-5367. Meet up time will be given once registered.
If you do not have a journal, one will be provided for you. This hike will be outside, so dress accordingly for the weather, it is recommended to wear sunscreen, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water, and since we will be hiking wear sturdy shoes.
