Event Details

The beauty found at Red Rock Canyon is undeniable, but sometimes we can get swept up in the grandeur of the large sandstone formations. Join a BLM Ranger in our amphitheater as we take a step back and focus our attention on the intricate details that can often be overlooked at first glance. After a short warm-up, we will sketch using pencil and paper to tell the story of where we are, what we observe, and the abundance of life found in the Mojave Desert. Materials will be provided, however feel free to bring your own sketch book to add to your own collection.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. No registration is required for this program.
