It’s Look for an Evergreen Day! Join a BLM Ranger on an afternoon hike into Pine Creek Canyon to look for a few evergreens and to see how these hardy trees help shape the environment of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. This hike covers about 2.5 miles (4 km) round trip and gains about 400 feet (120 m) of elevation. Water is not available at the Pine Creek Canyon Trailhead, but you can find water fill stations at the Red Rock Canyon NCA Visitor Center.
Registration is required. For questions and registration call (702) 515-5367. Time of hike and meet-up location will be given during registration. While visiting Red Rock Canyon NCA please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear appropriate footwear, sunscreen and bring plenty of water.
