Red Rock Canyon NCA is a wonder where kids can explore and experience nature. Red Rock for Kids is a program to help children of all ages connect with their public lands through art, games, stories, walks, and music. Join one of our interpretive naturalists this week and learn about the plants and animals of Red Rock on a scavenger hunt and nature walk.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. Advance registration at is required to attend this program. Additionally, a Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive Timed Entry reservation (available at or by calling 1-877-444-6777) is required.

When visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water.
