Fawn Douglas is an artist, activist, and member of the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe. She also has roots in the Moapa Paiute, Cheyenne, Pawnee, and Creek Nations. Fawn studied at the College of Southern Nevada and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas – where she graduated with a B.A. in Art, Painting and Drawing in 2015. As an artist, Fawn continues to pull her cultural heritage into her works, including mixed media, print, pastel, spray paint, acrylic, oil paint and ceramics, and has murals in various locations in the City of Las Vegas as well as the Paiute Indian Reservation. Stop by the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center anytime from 10AM to 3PM to meet Fawn and watch her paint! No registration necessary. All ages.
