Join an Interpretive Naturalist at the Red Rock Overlook, the overlook off of SR 159, anytime from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM to learn about some of the snakes that call Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area home. Learn about which snakes exist out here, what you should do if you see a snake, their diet, habitat, and brumation information. No live animals will be present.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. No registration is required for this program. If you plan to visit the Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive or Visitor Center, please make a timed entry reservation at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.

When visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water.
