Join Interpretive Naturalists as we explore the majestic desert scenery right outside of the scenic drive. This evening hike will be approximately 2.6 miles (out-and-back) and involve us climbing approximately 400ft to the ridge line to watch the sunset. The descent will have loose rocks. This hike is recommended for those that are sure footed and have solid shoes with good grip. Hiking poles or walking sticks are also suggested.

Ages 12+. Bring about 3 liters of water per person and dress for the weather. Bringing a flashlight or headlamp is suggested. There are no restrooms in the parking area.
