Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
Beat the heat and take an evening stroll with a naturalist on some of Red Rock Canyon’s most beautiful trails. Come see some water, rare plants, and fantastic geology within Calico Basin. We will look for nocturnal and crepuscular wildlife along the way and discuss animal & plant adaptations for living in the dark. Together we’ll enjoy the sunset, stars, and moon away from city lights in one of Nevada’s premier outdoor locations. Limited space/registration necessary. Easy to moderate hike of 2 to 3 miles.
