Veterans Day Hike

Event Details

Come honor and celebrate Veterans this November 10th, 2023, the day before Veterans Day, with a nice walk around the Red Spring Boardwalk in Calico Basin. The Red Spring Boardwalk is an easy 0.5-mile (0.8 km) level boardwalk over a meadow, that is handicap accessible, therefore this hike will be wheelchair and walker friendly.

Registration is required. Please call (702) 515-5367 for more information and to register. Time of hike and meet-up location will be given during registration.

All ages. This program will be held outside, so dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water. Restrooms are located in the picnic area and the parking lot. There is no cell service on the trail or in most areas of Red Rock Canyon. Please no pets on this hike, service animals are welcome.
