Did you know that over 40% of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is designated as Wilderness? But what is a Wilderness Area and what can you do there? Join a BLM Park Ranger in the Visitor Center Amphitheater for a 20-minute presentation on the beauty and importance of these protected areas and learn how you can enjoy and explore them responsibly. This presentation will start at 10:00am and 11:00am.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. No registration is required for this program.

When visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, it is important to dress accordingly for the weather. It is recommended to wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear, bring a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water.
