Event Details

Join Sprout Scouts and discover the fascinating plants of Red Rock Canyon. Designed for ages 8–11, this program series invites children to become nature detectives through movement, games, and storytelling as they explore the special adaptations that help plants survive in the Mojave Desert. Each month, Sprout Scouts will investigate a different plant species, focusing on the bold Utah agave in July, the timeless creosote bush in August, and the majestic Joshua tree in September.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a free public service. Please note: Advance registration at redrockcanyonlvprograms.timetap.com is required to attend this program. A Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive Timed Entry reservation is not required.
